Some people have houses. Others have homes.
What’s the difference? It’s not the things you have—or don’t—it’s how artfully you arrange and display your treasures that counts.
At It’s Simply Yours, we specialize in showcasing your cherished items. Whether you live in a mansion and collect antique oil paintings or prefer a cozy cottage filled with kids’ crayon drawings, we’ll help you frame your rooms with the things you love to create warm, inviting spaces you and your family will enjoy for years to come.
“We work with you to rearrange things you already own in new ways,” said Sarah Johnson, owner of It’s Simply Yours. “We’ll even search through your closets and garage to repurpose artifacts. Last week, for example, we transformed forgotten crystal doorknobs into unique curtain tiebacks. They made the room.” If you’re a minimalist with empty closets, however, never fear.
“We can suggest items you need and direct you to the best places to purchase them,” added Diane Consolino, who designs in partnership with Sarah. “If you don’t enjoy shopping or can’t make the time to do it, we’ll do it for you.”
Better yet, you don’t have to commit to “doing” your whole house at once.
“Some people only need help decorating nooks and crannies and we’re happy to do that,” Sarah said. “We’ll reorganize library bookshelves for a dramatic effect or fix a problem traffic pattern. Sometimes, clients only need us to help hang a gallery of photographs in a more interesting way.”
The team can help you eliminate costly mistakes by advising you on paint colors, flooring, hardware and all other aspects of decoration. Plus, they help with holiday décor.
Even businesses can benefit. It’s Simply Yours recently made a veterinarian’s waiting room and retail area more client-friendly, chose paint tones for a new toy store and created a “Wall of Fame” awards wall for a local business.
“I hired It’s Simply Yours to stage my house for sale,” said Julie Blair Riekse, who lives in Flower Mound. “We thought it was pretty as it was, but they made it look like something out of a magazine. We got rave reviews from Realtors and their clients; the home sold in 21 days in a down market—for a profit.”
No matter the size of the project, the price is the same: $95 per hour.
“We come to your house ready to work fast,” Sarah said. “In two hours, we can rearrange your entire living room and have it looking camera-ready.”
At It’s Simply Yours, we know you have spent years collecting meaningful possessions. Now let us help you highlight their potential.
